The course content will provide current evidence and algorithms to support an efficient but effective evaluation of GI disorders, followed by prompt initiation of appropriate therapy that is directed toward improving patient care and outcomes.

Important Notice Regarding NYSGE 2025 49th Annual Course Hotel Reservations

Please be advised that NYSGE and Veritas are the only authorized entities responsible for communication regarding the NYSGE 2025 Annual Course.

Neither NYSGE nor Veritas will reach out to you for hotel reservation solicitation.  If you are contacted by any third-party hotel, travel agency, or reservation service offering assistance with your hotel bookings for this event, we strongly recommend against utilizing their services. These agencies often provide rooms at inflated rates that are non-refundable and may include significant cancellation penalties.

To make sure you secure the best rates and avoid potential issues, please only follow official instructions from NYSGE and Veritas for hotel reservations on this webpage.

Hotel reservations at the group rate for the NYSGE 2025 Annual Course from December 16 to December 19 are currently available.   Upgraded rooms and reservations outside of the group block dates are based on availability.  Please review all terms and conditions, including additional charges and the cancellation policy, before finalizing your reservation.

Group rate is $394 per night, based on single or double occupancy.  Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 14.75%) plus $3.50 occupancy fee per room per night in effect at the time of check-in. Taxes and fees are subject to change without notice.

When calling the hotel for reservation assistance, you must identify yourself as a participant of the NYSGE 2025 Annual Course.  A deposit of the first night room rate or a guarantee with a major credit card is required when making your reservation.

The NYSGE 2025 group block will be available until Wednesday, November 26, 2025.  After this date, the group rate is not guaranteed, and reservation requests will be accepted based on availability.

Submit Your Abstract for the NYSGE 49th Annual New York Course Scientific Poster Session and Reception
Wednesday, December 17, 2025 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

We want you to share your knowledge and help shape the future of patient care! Submit your abstract to be featured at the NYSGE 49th Annual New York Course today. View the updated guidelines and requirements below.

Guidelines
• Eligible participants include individuals currently enrolled in an accredited medical school, residency, or three-year gastroenterology fellowship, as well as trainees in Advanced Endoscopy, Hepatology, IBD, or Motility fellowships.
• Applicants are not required to be the lead author but must have made a significant and meaningful contribution to the research.
• Any clinical topic within gastroenterology or hepatology is suitable. (Case reports will not be accepted.)
• Abstracts previously presented at national meetings (DDW, ACG, AASLD) within the past year are eligible.
• Acceptance by NYSGE does not preclude future submission to other conferences.
• The abstract body is limited to 2,900 characters (including spaces).
• If selected, posters must be no larger than 72” (W) x 36” (H), one-sided, printed on coated flexible material or fabric.
• Presenters must be in attendance during the poster session (6:30–8:00 PM). Judges will award the NYSGE Fellows Research Award to the top three scoring posters, announced during the General Session on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
• Trainee membership in NYSGE is encouraged and complimentary. Apply online: Join NYSGE > Membership Options > Trainee Member at www.nysge.org. For assistance, email info@nysge.org.
• Maximum three submissions per poster presenter (authors may be included on more than two submissions).
• Abstracts should not be submitted multiple times by different co-authors.
• Submissions from attendings will not be accepted.
• A limited number of abstracts per person will be accepted pending the total submissions received. If you submit more than one abstract where you are the lead author, please indicate in order your preference for acceptance.

• Include your full name, institution, email address, and phone number at the top of your abstract. Abstracts missing this information will not be reviewed.
• Submit as a Word or PDF file only.
• File name format: Last Name – Institution – Abbreviated Title of Abstract.

American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) MOC

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 8.50 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

You must request your certificate within 45 days of the activity to meet the deadline for submission to PARS. Credits are generally reported during the first week of each month for those who claimed during the month prior.
