The 2024 NYSGE Annual Course is scheduled to take place December 11-13 in New York. We will be offering both in-person and virtual attendance options for this meeting. Don’t miss out on everything this year’s Annual Course has to offer – register today!

Submit Your Abstract for the
15th Annual Scientific Poster Session and Reception

We want you to share your knowledge and help shape the future of patient care! Please submit your abstract to be featured at the NYSGE 48th Annual Course & Conference today! View the guidelines and requirements below.

Guidelines

  • Individuals currently enrolled in an accredited medical school, residency, or three-year. Gastroenterology fellowship are eligible to submit, as are trainees enrolled in Advanced Endoscopy, Hepatology, IBD or Motility fellowships.
  • Applicants are not required to be the lead author but must have contributed significantly and meaningfully to the research study.
  • Any clinical topic within Gastroenterology or Hepatology is suitable for submission, although case reports will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts submitted to a national meeting (DDW, ACG, AASLD) in the past year are eligible.
  • Acceptance by NYSGE does not preclude future submission to other conferences.
  • The body of the abstract is limited to 2,900 characters, including spaces.
  • If selected, posters may be no larger than 72” wide by 36” tall, one-sided, print on coated flexible material or fabric.
  • Judges and course attendees will view the posters from 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm, during which time all presenters must be in attendance. An NYSGE Fellows Research Award will be presented to the top three scoring posters, and the winners announced at the General Session on Friday, December 13, 2024.
  • All those who submit are encouraged to enroll as an NYSGE Trainee member. To apply visit Join NYSGE > Membership Options > Trainee Member on this website, www.nysge.org. Membership is complimentary for trainees, but a brief application is required. Please contact info@nysge.org for assistance.
  • Maximum two submissions per poster presenter. (Authors may be part of more than two submissions.)

Submission Instructions

  • Include your Full Name, Institution, Email Address, and Phone Number at the top of the first page of your abstract. Abstracts without this information will not be reviewed.
  • Only MS Word and PDF file formats are acceptable.
  • Name your file as follows: Your Last Name – Institution – Abbreviated Title of Abstract.
  • Email your file to jfitzgerald@nysge.org
