About the course
Fifty Years of Sharpening Endoscopic Practice.
Led by expert faculty, this course aims to enhance endoscopic practice and refine learners’ clinical approach to a broad range of GI tract disorders. It draws on current evidence and clinical algorithms to guide efficient, effective evaluation of GI conditions, enabling prompt initiation of appropriate treatment—with the goal of improving patient care and outcomes.

Abstract submissions are now open for any project categories, including research, performance improvement, and evidence-based initiatives. Share your knowledge and help shape the future of gastroenterology patient care!

Individuals working in the GI field and attending the NYSGE 50th Annual New York Doris C. Barnie Course
Authorship
Applicants need not be the lead author but must have made a significant and meaningful contribution to the project
Topics
Any clinical topic within gastroenterology or hepatology
Prior presentation
Abstracts presented at national meetings (e.g., SGNA) within the past year are eligible
Attendance
Presenters must attend at least 1 poster session — Thursday & Friday (break before/after lunch)
We welcome your contributions and look forward to your submissions.
We encourage fellows to submit their research by the deadline to be eligible for a waived registration fee for the 50th Annual New York Course (limited to one fellow per abstract, pending grant approval). Fellows who miss the deadline may still submit and be considered for acceptance; however, the registration fee will apply.
