NYSGE Membership Types
With more than 700 members, NYSGE is the largest regional gastroenterology and endoscopy society in the United States. NYSGE welcomes from both institutions and private practice from across the New York region, as well as Fellows and other trainees focusing on gastroenterology, gastrointestinal endoscopy, hepatology, or gastrointestinal surgery.
Membership Categories:
Active Membership
Dues: $195/year
Requirements:

- Medical Licensure
- Specialized Training in gastroenterology, gastrointestinal endoscopy, hepatology, or gastrointestinal surgery
- Completed Application Form including the contact information for an NYSGE Member Sponsor
Trainee Membership
Dues: Complimentary
Requirements:

- Medical Licensure
- Enrollment in a fulltime training program in gastroenterology, gastrointestinal endoscopy, hepatology, or gastrointestinal surgery
- Completed Application Form including a letter of verification from your Program Director
Associate Membership
Dues: $95/year
Requirements:

- Certified RN, GI Technician or PharmD.
- Membership is open to allied health professionals (for example registered nurses and gastroenterology or endoscopy technicians) who are affiliated with a GI, Endoscopy, or multi-specialty institution or practice or who have demonstrated a continued interest in gastroenterology or endoscopy.
- Completion of a Council-approved application form.
Advanced Practice Practitioner Membership
Dues: $125/year
Requirements:

- Certified NP, PA.
- Membership is open to advanced practice providers (for example nurse practitioners, physician associates, and pharmacists) who are affiliated with a GI, Endoscopy, or multi-specialty institution or practice or who have demonstrated a continued interest in gastroenterology or endoscopy.
- Completion of a Council-approved application form.
Senior Membership
Dues: Complimentary
Requirements:
- Current Active Member of NYSGE in good standing
- 65 years of age or older
